Hi, the game should react to touch just fine. The only thing not functional on desktop is multi touch.

Got it, so what's wrong with the default layout that emulates touch as mouse input and why do you think that "native support" would improve on that? As of right now the framework TheoTown is built with does not support touch APIs on desktop.
If I use the touchscreen to mouse, gestures such as pinching to zoom doesn’t work and I need to press buttons to zoom slowly.
The cursor will also appear on the screen where I tap at.
Well, I will add support once the framework supports it. It has been proposed for years but there have been some progress in recent months. Something else we could hope for is Steam improving the mouse emulation. If they would do it like Windows zooming and mouse hiding could work without native support.
