Im using my phone's bulit in screen recorder and it just says "unable to capture the screen because of app limitations" or something like that

The phone is a vivo if that helps

If the phone is a vivo, go to Privacy and turn off Screenshot protection.
(Watch out, this may cause malicious software to have easier way to get in control of your phone, but I think you are responsible to not install that kind of content.)
