Can I recover my files if I delete something like City files in the Theo town file manager | TheoTown | Page 1

Hello once again I accidentally deleted my map files :///

oof. Now it kinda depends. Did you store the files in a backup system of sorts? Like an SD card, a USB drive, or a file manager app? Because if so, you can easily just copy and paste them into the TheoTown folder.

If you didn't do this... Then there may not be a way to successfully get them back. This is unlikely, but as long as you didn't reset your device, the files could still be in your trash folder

In the future, I reccomend you opt for some sort of external storage device. I prefer an SD card because it can go in anything. Just remember to update the files every little bit. And besides, if your device decides to reset itself from a virus or you need to, the SD card won't get erased while file manager apps most likely will

No all of my files just sits at the maps file in the file manager but last night when I'm importing a plugin I accidentally added a plugin outside of the plugin file I deleted it and I accidentally clicked the maps file and deleted it

as long as all the .city and .json files are still there i think ur good. bc plugins u can just download again from the "deleted" folder in the plugin store and they're free since u bought them already

hm. i hate to say this, but if the files got permanently deleted, the only way to restore them is if they were stored in another app or device. it sucks, but it happens to me constantly :(
