Was building my city last few weeks. In afternoon as well. At night when I log in the tile is fully missing.

I’d put 20+ hours into it, and really loved it. Any way of fixing this? Or is this city just lost. I did use the largest map size. Is that a reason for it?

Population was 600k

Did you have an issues while saving? Maybe the game crashed or something?

Nah I play on phone. And usually just close. This is my 10th or so city. First time I have ever had this issue

Yah lol - guess I should stop doing that if this can happen. I’ve played hundreds of hours and first time happened. 😭

If I had to guess you had a very very unlucky, and just to happened to shut the game at the exact time the game was saving

You could probably go into your files and see if there are any .city.backup files
