I had the same problem, there are some plugins you can use but these work as roads, so you can't make lakes or connect it to the actual water

yeah i dont think you can make actual water do that

#

and ground types dont support animations

water is pretty much a ground type

I can probably make a waterfall that moves but it cant connect to water

If it at least looks like a waterfall, I don't care if it doesn't have animation, if the terrain doesn't support it

I really don't see why water on or next to a slope isn't in the game already
