Whenever I try to create a region it freezes while it's loading and then it says OpenJDK Platform Binary is not responding

When submitting a good crash report, please provide the details of when or under what circumstances the game crashed as well as the following files which can be found in TheoTown folder:

out.txt
You can find out TheoTown's directory for your system by checking out Ptag files.

Moreover, if you can trigger the game to crash with the same error in a reproducible fashion, please mention that in your report as well as that helps us get it to crash on our own machines which in turn lets use fix it easier.

TheoTown files are located under such directories:

Windows: C:\Users\(insert username)\TheoTown or %USERPROFILE%\TheoTown
Linux: ~/TheoTown
MacOS: /user/TheoTown
Android: /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/info.flowersoft.theotown.theotown/files
By default you should be in /storage/emulated/0/. Uninstalling the game on Android will delete all files, unless you decide to keep the files when prompted by uninstaller.

If you cannot access game files through these directories, game has an in-built file manager for mobile devices which is accessible from the region view menu.

You can find your plugin, music, region and city files there as well as logs for debugging purposes.

before i restart my pc could it be that java and theotown are on different drives?

because i think java is stored on my SSD while TheoTown is on my Hard Drive

yeah it couldn't open because it didn't have admin access to the .prefs folder which it needed to run
