Ok, i install theotown again and again, and theotown.exe always infected with this virus, how can this be
did you actually download it from steam
yes
In short, recently some kind of garbage happened on my computer after I accidentally deleted the OneDrive folder and the desktop crashed, but I returned everything to its place
this is the first time and it’s Theotown, it’s very strange
yeah it's weird
i can assure it doesn't have viruses
the only thing you can do about it is restore the files and disable windows defender or something
will anything happen to my regions?
I copied the data folder (plugins and regions) from the folder named
it’s just that last time the regions flew away
if you reinstall the game completely, I don't think so
I don't want to experience this again
seeing as theotown.exe is the only file being flagged with the virus, you can just restore it and play your regions as per usual
the game won't let me do it, it gets infected every time Steam downloads data
as I said, wacatac is a false positive in this case
or, can you send me a pic of what the anti-virus says
its on russian language
nah it doesn't matter
i try to download theotown again
omg, steam said there was a disk writing error
that happened to other games
maybe i need to reinstall steam?
okay i start downloading this sh__ on another disk AND ITS WORK
uuhhh
yeah I'm not sure I can understand a word of the reasoning
probably causated by windows defender doing goofy stuff
hmm
yeah in this case it's for sure a false positive, theotown.exe isn't infected by viruses nor should it be flagged by an anti-virus. it's just a windows defender thing. read

ohh, what am I supposed to do
just unlock the file?
as I said, restore theotown.exe file
okay
okay
it started
hurray it worked
I hate Microsoft
yeah, its solved, thanks you so much
yw!
you have a very cool pfp, byeee
