Airports actually generate a sizable income. I think having more runways was supposed to balance that out

I get that, but the many runways are also taking up space that could be used for a commercial zone, or industrial zone, or whatnot, it's not really the price that bothers me, it's the space that ends up getting used up.

I think the income should be based on the number of runways and not on the number of planes, allowing for more planes diversity as a runway could allow for various planes, all while not making it too op.
