I recently bought theotown through steam, when I log in to my forum account I get a connection error

I recently bought theotown on Steam, I logged into my theotown forum account to recover my plugins that I downloaded from the game's plugin store but when I enter the game's plugin store, I get a connection error

In that case let me check my steam version on the off chance something is only effecting the plugin store... normally when one goes down they both do

No connection means that the game servers cannot establish your ownership of the game
