sounds interesting, but how would that work?
placing a telecom in the middle of a metropolis just so that all buildings are in range doesn't sound like a good idea
and implementing a system like electricity simply doesn't have any gameplay value
please no ðŸ˜
not more happines indicators
Could it work like in cities skylines 2, where a each citizen consumates a resource of it, it would be wireless with a central server station and antenna buildings with a very large radius to propagate the signal, making it yes similar to electricity but with a different spin to it
I kinda don't see a point
sounds like effort for something that most players aren't gonna like anyway
More immersion and realism?
Also it sounds pretty simple to me
I don't think forcing players to plop down a 1x1 building in a random spot on the map after reaching rank x and then repeating it every y residents is very engaging or immersive
I mean, that's how the game works
Let me tell you from experience, coding anything no matter how basic is time consuming
but it's not like theotown is remotely realistic
K
I understand
Id still like for something like that, mine was only a suggestion, i mean, you could always figure out better that me how to implement such a sistem
I get what you mean, good idea yet most people wouldn't really like it, it's kind of pointless and it would get quite annoying. If for any reason it was somewhat added though, it would be cool if it had it's own disaster where the wifi stops working.
yeah I don't think it would be a very good idea
