settings/workarounds for turning off out of game time tracking

Hi all. Just started and really love the game. Only playing single player at the moment. Is there any way to turn off the way a city accrues money while being away from a town? Or even if I'm away from the game entirely. I've liked the challenge of being thrifty but it takes so much willpower to stick with it close that pop up to spend diamonds or watch a video.

The other time it comes along is mwhen the tickets start adding up and I have the game paused. I can't seem to find a way to turn this off and wondered if anyone has any workarounds for making the budgeting feel more authe8ntic.

if you dont watch the ads or spend diamonds to redeem what you received when you were away, it doesnt get added to the balances

and i don think you can stop the tickets unfortunately
