Bad Performance on PC

Playing Theotown on the PC and before the last couple of updates it's been nothing but good and smooth performance on here (60 Fps), but I've noticed quite lately that even on the smallest towns that I play on I've been getting really bad performance that doesn't even hit 45 Fps. any guides/recommendations to get good performance again?

i5 9400f
Gtx 1050ti
16gb Ram
Windows 10

Don't play with a browser open

Maybe you installed some plugins, that might be affecting your performance in a negative way?

Yes, I have too many installed, I'll try to delete those I haven't being using

Update: Both Smooth Scrolling and Vsync were both turned, and I also removed some plugins that I didn't need anymore, but the performance is still really bad.

do you have any other apps/games open?

The only apps/programs I have running in the background when I play Theotown is Firefox, Spotify, and Steam

I forgot to mention as well, I recently replaced my motherboard, but both are nearly the same model (I'll edit this post when I get home with the names of both motherboards)

It's a good idea to check out the debug overlay

Which OS you using?

You may have background bloat, try debloating your OS

I'll look into debloating, but most of my games that I currently play run smoothly apart from Theotown

Okay checked them and also try to update your device drivers or unupgrade whatever suits you

I'll update my GPU Drivers lol cause I haven't yet maybe that's why Theotown is running badly

Been checking Theotown after doing the recommended ways here but it still has a bad performance

probably a plugin is effecting your performance. try disabling large plugins like Berlin airport, or any other big plugins and see if it works. try once checking your performance without any plugins

Most of the the plugins I use are small in size but I have a lot installed so yes it's probably the plugins

Ill try and find and disable the bigger ones
