okay, so i play on the steam version and i was trying to make midway island and.. I couldnt delete terrain?

but if i try it on diffrent maps, its still the same

you are using the wromg tool

for terrain open the toolbar and click the terrain, you can lower or rise the terrain, make it water and etc
