here's a break down of the submissions and why the one that won is undoubtedly the winner:

King Tut: Was posted almost immediately after the announcement, feels a bit rushed. The bright sandy beach is not very spooky.

Fiork: A nice town but not very spooky.

Thanks Treyarch: Too much of the same doodads (crematoriums, planes).

KillerFox: Good atmosphere and location but nothing particularly spooky.

Gov'nor: Definitely spooky with the small details and implications.

Dumbery: Interesting idea but kind of messy. Post apoc city isn't something I've seen before.

Wheeler: Great idea, nicely detailed, not spooky.

Sir Jollyann: Looks nice but dark =/= spooky.

Kentucky Assistant: Nice but not spooky.

Person from Latvia: Not spooky.

Steelhammer: Not a fan of the movies but re-creations are great and yours looks very nice. Underrated submission.

Zesty: Not spooky.

PixoAsh: Nice and spooky but not in it's presentation, the implied spookiness of the attraction.

Rumidian: SPOOKY. Post processing adds a huge dimension. The idea of the apartment right beside the graveyard and crematorium is dark. The dilapidated surroundings implies whatever bad things that are going on have been happening for a long time.

with the prompts for submissions being so "spook" heavy, it's no wonder the spookiest looking submission came out on top

Does anyone know if there's a limit to the FreePlay mode? I keep getting to a certain point in terms of the amount of buildings and roads, then it begins to not save anymore

@silk dirge there is no limit in buildings or roads whatsoever. It sounds like a bug to me. You can always manually click to save a map if auto save isn't functioning properly

Or check the settings to see if auto save is accidently turned off

I need it detailed but dummied down

I need to know exactly what I'm looking for in terms of numbers or letters or both.
I mean really dummied down

I'm trying to get the Twin Towers. I see them and know where to go, I'm not understanding what I copy
And then how to transfer to the theotown folder, which I have no clue where it is

I just need all the help in the world

There are 2 possible ways

#

One is by buying a plugin from the plugin store in game, which directly downloads them and you don't need to do anything

#

Secondly, you can go to the forums, find the desired plugin on there and download it to your device

#

From that point, go to any file manager app, find the downloaded plugin (most likely a .zip) and move it to theotown>plugins

#

If you restart the game it should now be available in your game

You should place the folder in Sample, but only if it's unzipped

@gentle lodge, about when did it erase? As in how much work did you put in before it erased. I was having the same problem. Mine erased like 10 times. It's always at a certain point. I might've fixed it, but I'm not 100 percent sure yet
