1.Scout the land. Plan where you will put your cities,factories,farms,airports,and military area's.
2.Pause. As you know if you put any sort of residential,commercial,or Industrial out there then leave the the game cause you had to do something else in real life,Things will still be built even though tou left it in pause. So this is where the labels come in later on.

#

3.Road your map with highways,streets,and expressways. You'll need them later on plus this is part of the decorative category. Add street lights,put crosswalks,make super tall bridges. Oh this is all if you want to of course.
4.Labels. Label an area on the map to remind your self where will a city be or where will tge factories be.

#

5.Utilities. Throw down some of the main utilities in you cities streets and let them be built (Hit play or skip button). This includes power,water,emergancy systems,schools,parks,and etcetera.
6.Zoning time. Zone those empty streets of your city with what you planed on the labels. After that you can finally watch your city grow in population and in building.
