tbf i didn't encounter much problematic people in the game like that, only seen them in forums. Community around Forked tower was mostly chill (tho one of the raid leads was a little too passionate and screamed a lot). In PF people don't interact much if nobody fucks up.
The worst experience i had lately was in FRU PF, because i wanted to practice a little outside of static, and learned that it's full of parse junkies in prog groups
so i kinda would have to change my entire rotation for the fight because people refuse to hold, and just full blast p1 with pots

every pot have a certain % of stat increase, but they all have maximum the can give you.
Just look at your main stat inside the quantum and calculate based on what pots say
generally i think latest pots should give more stat, compared to other within the same expansion
