It is a daily occurence I load into a pug and there's at least 1-2 guys doing 15-20k dps on a pure dps

When you can literally double your dps with zero effort by playing unload

yea looks like it's gen 1 precursor quests and then unlocks gen 2 legendary weapon quests

even back in the day the gen 1 precursors were cheaper off the TP than doing the achievement chain, i'd guess that's true even more with the WV legendary sets, gen 2 is a bit different since the chains are the only way to get the precursors iirc but the name of the mastery is kind of a bait

how does it work in gw2?

Theirs 2 maps one has a lot of gambling with your materials for rare items ,races and treasure hunts.

The other is a massive arena of 6 enemy factions to farm in events,and a 1 on 1 gauntlet above all of it where you fight strong npcs with gimmicks for exclusive titles.

Then some other stuff to find in open world
