Yeah, at this point I ignore the things I cannot control and focus on the parts of the game that I like, being that competitive mons. They are nailing every time that part so even if I dislike some parts of the game, I always enjoy battling with people.
I prefer 6v6 but I also enjoy VGC, so the hypest thing they could showed to me was Pokémon Champions, I already want to play that, but for now, getting noob farmed by ceruledge screens is my fate.

i actually had a problem similar to this in FF7 Rebirth, where you would enter a "sector" of the zone which for some reason didn't load, and the game just locks you there, you can't get out and it doesn't load.
But i think there's a bit of a difference between UE5 AAA game and a Pokemon game on switch

i guess it's more of a expectations issue
like i knew this game had trouble in development
i was expecting an absolute mess of a game
but, if you were expecting a complete faithfull sequel to the first game
which, to point out
the first game is incomplete
up to this day
the only reason it stands out it's because of unnoficial patches and support and the writing was fire
and still has a bunch of issues towards the ending
so this game in a vacuum looks like an 8 to me. i haven't seen end game though, so can't comment if it keeps up
if the powers and combat keep interesting till the end you know?
but dialogue is really cool so far, very noir style

and jump in the buildings
and do superman landing

it's really just the vampyre rpg system that is out
putting your points into str, charisma, computer etc

story is okay, not on the level of the previous one, it tries to be more introdutory to the universe. idk how far i am though, i guess i'm still at the beginning

i have some critics, but at the same time it has surprised me so far

i think the most glaring issue is progression, the lack of rpg system is not substituted by a good progression system, you level up too fast and you stagnate really early into the game, you don' t go upwards just sideways.
But the action is really good, i feel really satisfied. i said they needed to diversy the combat and they have done well enough. i'm playing on hardest difficulty and there are some areas i need to put game face on.
and the story is really intriguing, although there is only 1 storyline, not like in the first game where there are lots.
And the last thing is, the clan system they implemented, imo heavily discourages different playthroughs
oh, side quest is the worst part of the game imo, so much i gave up on doing them
