metaphor also doesn't require you to correctly answer in the character scenes to get more relationship progress
some answers will just give you more currency for archetypes (i think, i don't remember)
i'd personally recommend Metaphor if you new to Atlus games, then Persona 5 probably since it's the most "basic" one and with a lot of QoL, then 3 for the best story and then 4 for cozy friendship simulator.

i think it depends on the persona game, 3 and 4 being really good. metaphor i heavily dislike, the story is very very dumb and the game hold your hand hard. BUT they disguise the story being bad by using politicaly heated topics

well atlus game are a aprticular one that imposes time gating liits on you, so you are forced to make decisions for the future without context. So if for examle, you like npc A, often people will look up what stats you need to prioritize to pursue that relationship. because it can happen that you are locked out of it because you don`t have enough

the beauty of persona games for me is always about immersing yourself with the world and its characters, aka the non-dungeon stuff. and that can take ALOT of time, because its very dialogue heavy. thats why i feel like person isnt very streamable
especially for those that kinda want "something" to happen
you could prob do a 12 hour stream and its just nothing but talking, exploring, social links etc

I agree. And while Persona 2 is the best duology Atlus has ever produced, Metaphor is just a lot more beginner friendly. Also in terms of min maxing you will still miss out on some stuff in Metaphor if you don't pay attention, but it's not as bad as the Persona games in terms of additional side story imo
