i think new atelier game has pretty nice combat, music peak like always, no motion sickness vs ryza when exploring, story is ok but lots of cutscenes, not super sure about synthesis yet bc this game keeps throwing cutscenes at me. from what i heard it's better than ryza but worse than sophie 2. there's a roguelike kinda dungeon thingy, different layout/gathering spots each time u go in with difficulty options. not sure if worth the full price tag im gonna play a bit more @sand shuttle

there's also a shop management aspect to it, you put stuff on the shelf to sell, same colours adjacent = bonus price. you set up fairies afterwards to work at the shop, each have things they are good at, similar to yakuza minigame. fairies have stamina so you can't keep spamming this, either assign different fairy or wait for them to recover while you gather/combat etc. rank up shop by meeting those goals.
after setting it up, cutscene happens then money + exp comes in. exp is for the town, there's 5 different aspects (merchant, resident, farming, manufacture, nature)
i stopped there but i'll try more tomorrow after stream prob
the alchemy doesn't seem comparable to older games though but overall game has been fun
