Hello! My name is Jer and I'm the designer, producer, and programmer for Controlled Anarchy Games, an international game development co-op.
What we're looking for:
We're seeking a programmer who can help bring our first commercial project to life through the development of gameplay systems and data management. The ideal candidate has experience with GDScript and Godot 4 (experienced mono devs are also welcome to reach out!), an understanding of AI behaviors/scripting, can adapt to new tech or libraries easily, and can commit at minimum several months of part-time effort to build a vertical slice from existing prototypes.
Specific experience or credits are not required, however a portfolio of projects you've contributed to or completed is. Any portfolios containing obviously AI-generated code or content will be ignored.
This is a revenue-sharing gig with no guarantee of pay.
About the game:
Spelhaus is a top-down, 2D tactical RPG featuring character-driven narratives, crafting, and customizable gameplay experiences. As the inheritor of your family's estate (now an empty and haunted mansion), you take up the centuries-old family business of magicraft, while contending with the unfortunate past of the family Spel and the manor they have long occupied.
To learn more or apply:
Feel free to PM me here on discord with a brief "about me", a link to a portfolio of your work, and a CV of previous credited work (if relevant). We look forward to hearing from you!
Who we are:

We are currently three strong from different parts of the world. While we are still working on our first project, we are committed to bringing the very best games we can to life, for ourselves, each other, and players everywhere.
