Since 2016, PS3D has had a YouTube Rank system that gives YouTubers some level of privileges. Unfortunately, the system has not changed much since then. It has come to a point where PS3D needs to take a different approach to its' YouTube Rank system if they wish content creators to still be making content about the game.

To start, let's look at all the perks you unlock with the YouTube Rank:

1,000 subscribersYouTube Name Icon + access to #creators & #creator-chat on Discord
10,000 subscribersYouTube Trail
100,000 subscribersYouTube Cape

Problems with the current system:
I think it's no secret that reaching 10,000 and 100,000 subscribers by making only PS3D content is impossible, even getting 1,000 subscribers seems impossible these days given the trajectory of PS3D's popularity and the limited tools creators have to work with. You need to dedicate yourself to another game if you want to reach those milestones which would inevitably make you leave PS3D altogether since it will end up giving you unsatisfyingly lower views than your other videos.
Besides that, the rewards you get after obtaining the YouTube Rank are quite insignificant.
Back in 2017, the developers would promote peoples' videos in the game regardless of your subscriber count. This was a very beneficial feature for a lot of creators because it gave them instant recognition, nonetheless, it stirred competition amongst content creators to get their videos advertised in the game. It made no sense to take it away, bring it back!

Solution to the problems:
The only real solution to the problem is by reimagining a new and well-thought-out system. A system that encourages more players to become new creators and existing creators to make more high-quality content for PS3D. Here is my envision of the ideal YouTube Rank system: I introduce, the Creator's Programme.

Similarly to the current system, the Creator's Programme contains three tiers, the higher the tier, the better the rewards.
To apply for the Creator's Programme, one must follow live up to the base requirements:

Base requirements:

**1. ** ➜ Has a minimum of 250 subscribers or 1,000+ monthly views
**2. ** ➜ Has made at least two PS3D-related content in the last 30 days
**3. ** ➜ Follows the PS3D Terms of Use and Code of Conduct
**4. ** ➜ Follows the Terms of Service of YouTube
**5. ** ➜ Is an active, respectable, and positive member of the PS3D Community

A creator who lives up to the base requirements can expect to receive the following base benefits:

Base benefits:

**1. ** ➜ Monthly rewards such as Coins, Credits and Cases
**2. ** ➜ In-game cosmetics
**3. ** ➜ A "Creator" tag In-game and role on Discord
**4. ** ➜ A media kit with high-res images and clips to help creators improve the quality of videos and thumbnails
**5. ** ➜ Eligible to submit content to be featured In-game and on Discord
**6. ** ➜ Access to a specialized Discord channel

List of tiers + additional requirements and benefits to acquire each tier:

[TIER 1] APPRENTICE CREATOR:

[TIER 2] INTERMEDIATE CREATOR:

- Base + T1 + T2 benefits

- 50 Cases for free every update
- Free Battle Passes
- Custom-made Cosmetics

Above is a figure of what I perceive to be the best YouTube Rank system considering the current state of PS3D. I am aware that not everyone may agree on the rewards and the requirements, however, it is the structure of the suggested system that I want to emphasize more than anything.

Pros of implementing the Creator's Programme:

1. ➜ Encourages more people to make videos to make the YouTube scene more alive
2. ➜ Provides creators with helpful tools such as a media kit to uplift the quality of both videos and thumbnails
3. ➜ Gives public exposure in-game to boost channels
4. ➜ Favours determined PS3D creators more than new foreign ones who would otherwise make no more than 5 videos and disappear into oblivion
5. ➜ Rewards high-tier creators with Cases to give them an opportunity to make case-opening videos
6. ➜ Makes the system feel more relevant and up-to-date
7. ➜ Encourages more people to make content for the game, thus gives PS3D further promotion

Cons of implementing the Creator's Programme:

1. ➜ Requires a lot of work to implement
2. ➜ Creators might develop jealousy-related issues along the way but that creates competition which doubles down as a pro

Footnote: When PS3D becomes more and more popular over time, the requirements should be elevated accordingly because they need to be scaled by the popularity of the game. Considering the state of the game, I think the requirements above are fair.

That's okay man, I still think that 15,000 coins and 9,000 credits a year is good for a Mainstream content creator

You have to realise that they need to make content of the game, giving them a large amount of credits can help them review rare skins when an update gets dropped, or maybe even spend it all on cases for a big case opening video.
