The devs have spoken about this.
Due to the difficulty of getting mods on Psvr, the risk of ip being used in mods and the wish to stay uniquely different from b/s and bt. They don’t have any stake in implementing mods for the time being.
But mods are still on the consideration road map for pcvr and quest so there’s still a potential.
