enable low gravity for yourself and objects near you for an amount of time
the amount of time is how much time you spent in the air
an example:

you jump up in the air for 5 seconds
you can enable low gravity for 5 seconds, then you run out of time and have to be in the air again to get more seconds to enable it

because you gain seconds by being in the air, you could use it for as long as you dont touch the ground
but because you burn your gained seconds, you wont be able to use it once you hit the ground again !

maybe the low gravity area could be attached to a structure instead, but that is a bit more of a stretch

if the shiftstone looked like the moon, then maybe it could work as a visual for how much seconds you have

new moon (all dark gray): no seconds
crescent moon (mostly dark gray, with a sliver of white): 1~5 seconds
half moon (you get it at this point): 6~10 seconds
full moon: 20 seconds, or whatever the max is

#

and a visual for how large the area of effect would be useful
maybe some pale starry dust particles within the area thats being effected

This might be a bit complex for just 1 stone, but a zero g stone would be cool, what if when holding a structure you build up how long it it will stay 0g so when you release the hold it will become 0g and the timer will start going down?

that would be awesome too

This idea is also a bit complex and might conflict with charge a bit but the combos would be fun

is it really that complex ?
"in the air, this meter goes up
burn through this meter to use the shift stone ability"
the meter is how many seconds you have
