I've been really excited to play Rumble, but unfortunately, whenever do any sort of move that vibrates my controller, the controllers will vibrate and never stop.
I looked, there's a few issues reported like this already, but none of them had any fixes.
I went ahead and opened up the game's output log (Player.log) and the log is spammed with the message (Trimmed for bug report convenience)
"DllNotFoundException: Unable to load DLL 'bhaptics_library'."
at Bhaptics.SDK2.BhapticsLibrary.IsBhapticsAvailableForce ()
at RUMBLE.Players.Subsystems.PlayerHaptics.ApplyCurrentHapticValues ()
at RUMBLE.Players.Subsystems.PlayerHaptics.LateUpdate ()
I disable haptics entirely using SteamVR's bindings, but I assume that BHaptics doesn't actually respect that, since it didn't work.
I thought maybe it was windows anti-virus preventing it from being loaded, so I disabled that. No dice.
I thought maybe the file was corrupted somehow. Verify integrity of game files. No dice.
The in-game option to turn down the rumble effect does help, but the subtle rumble of the controllers is still beyond obnoxious and it drains my batteries.
If you're unable to reproduce this issue, I would still appreciate a way to outright disable vibration altogether so that I could play the game.(...)
