Off topic sub channels ?

Is it preferable to have off topic sub channels - politics, music, food, technology or everything lumped into one ?

For so many topics not really,

this is a sports server on discord (platform used largely by gamers) so only #other-sports & #gaming make sense really

& both of them exist already

Music, food & tech wont really be active
& a political channel can very well end up just being a pool of toxicity
