Meals fill up the hunger completely and they also are different kind of food tags so they will count towards building specific symbols in the cell

So shredded carrots, you'll need 2 of those for a carrot symbol in the cell for example

Otherwise it's 5 normal carrots

(can also mix with 1 meal and 1 base food to build the symbol if you want to save them)

Has anyone experienced letting the attack without or just partially defending? Like, what are the chances of our tamas being killed? And is it only the one we're currently raising or is it all the tamas of the biome or all biomes? Do they all become stars if it's a wipeout?

Those usually are cause by the environment your Tamagotchi live, they will indicate into what kind of Tamagotchi it gonna evolve
With bubbles, it mean it gonna evolve into a sea Tamagotchi

I don't think so? But I've only gotten 1 achievement done and it's 100 perfect games. But it didn't ask me to go further than that. I know what you mean, kinda like the Uni icons that slowly turn rainbow after hitting 3 different levels of it.

You might need to try other juices to get that og color

You have to give the same juice another time, I think it doesn’t work with pastel and multicolor. But if you change the color with a single-color juice you can revert back drinking the same juice

On days that end with 9, there's a chance there will be a meteor that intends on colliding with the Planet, and you have to react by checking it and then completing a minigame pretty much identical to Punching Meteorites

If you don't respond, your toys are swept away back to your inventory and the Tama might end up injured + accruing several care misses

It’s a hobby as far as I know, he just does it out of genuine love. It takes a lot of work (plus working with resin exposes you to a lot of chemicals) so he only makes a small handful of them at a time, which is why they always sell out so quickly

It could feasibly be done at home but you’d need a lot of space to work with plus adequate ventilation so you aren’t essentially just poisoning yourself with fumes lmao

Yeah I know. I talked myself out of it so I don't feel so bad. I noticed a lot resin cast stuff has this weird sticky texture to it. Not even because it's poorly cured/uncured.

When I was a child I noticed it with the little desk statues you find in trinket shops that are resin. I did get one of his angel cases he's made and it did have that signature tackiness I remember. It's extremely faint but I know that feeling.

But there are quite a lot of options separated by having to use the dial over and over, which isn't necessarily bad that they're actually using it but sometimes it doesn't fully zoom with one spin so I gotta keep doing it and xD yeah, nitpick for sure, but occasionally gives me that tinge of annoyance

Best is to use the sitter if you feel you can't gather to their needs, but normally any adults are ok, the worst are Kuchipatchi, then shykutchi, all others can go well but their happiness can go low fast too

If colors work similarly to the m!x/On, the entire body (being one sprite) can only be assigned one color, so in this case Kabutotchi's default is orange and it only affects his face/horn and arms.

Turns out older Tamas don't disappear forever once you hit the cap per biome. Instead, it seems they can come and go between screen/zoom transitions. Raising a 5th Tama in the ocean biome with four others in the background and one of them disappeared, then reappeared. Not sure if this still applies if you've raised over 5 Tamas in one biome, but that's been my observation so far

and what happens if you feed a food that has no evolution path in that field? like if i feed carrots to a water character, what does it turn into? is it indeterminate?

For the first one, Kids can change from one genus to another; though, I'm not exactly sure what the process looks like. It probably loses cells of the old field type and gains new ones over time, likely changing to the other form at 4 cells like with babies. I've dropped my kid into another field and it doesn't change right away, so it likely takes quite a bit of time (usually 15 minutes seems to be the amount of time it takes to gain a field cell)

For the second one, I haven't tested but I'd have to imagine it either still gives the food cell of that type but will just have it end up as the default Young for that field, or it doesn't give your Tama any cells of that type if they're not compatible with it and you just end up with the default Young anyways.

Follow-up: I can answer the second question! Fed my Land Kid right after evolving 5 Flower Syrup (+2) and 1 Honey Syrup (+1) which should have added up to 11 points and given me two Honey icons, but none appear in the cells. So food from other biomes doesn't affect the Tama's diet whatsoever

why do yall think bandai included bbmarutchi? other options could be, evolving into a random biome if you don’t have any field icons, or evolving into the one you have the most of. or i guess they could’ve done a whole 4th branching evo tree that are biome-hopping tamas tho that would be a lot of work but. why bbmarutchi

Are the items limited to shell color? Like can a person with a blue shell only give you the ocean themed stuff?

The girl first gave me two sky items and one for ocean and land. And then when I pulled out my other tama, she had to start her device again and it changed to two land and one ocean and sky item.

I had to double back on my first tama to get the second set because we weren't sure how it changed exactly

Could be every 15min, 30min or every hour? Who knows until someone wants to figure it out. A staff member could easily try to figure it out but I'd say we'd have to bank on someone who wants to do it and share the findings.

i think the employee ones can only show 4 download items at a time and they have no choice over what items are available
it seems to reset when the device resets

(haven't tested or anything but that's what i heard from the employee i talked to who also didn't really seem to understand how it works...)

She was there but not in charge of the tamas. The staff toggled through all items and there was indeed only 4 on there, then he told me to come back after sometime for other items. Maybe he didn’t know lol I have no idea. The staff tama was a purple sky
