Oh keep in mind that you don't have to completely fill the hunger with chicken/meat/etc, as long as you do the last heart with it they'll get the icon in the cell

As much as I do love this device so far (now on my second character on my land tama, moved to ocean biome), I swear I’ve breathed near the devices and there’s some light scratches on the screen. I don’t have any spare screen protectors from other devices so I’m gonna have to just hope & pray they come out with some screen protectors in the UK soon

Im pretty sure this is false; you need to feed three or four of the item, or feed a dish cooked from the matching ingredients (like shredded carrots for carrot)
I only ever let my tama's hunger bar deplete by 1; it still took several food items for the food to show up in the cell!
What filling the last heart does do however is making an onigiri appear, showing that your tama is completely full :)

Mmm weird, I did it just yesterday to get the roar young so needed 1 meat in the cell, I fed the kid pellets up until the last heart and one meat and the meat appeared in the cell

Soo, i'm feeding my land kid meat and small meat (even when the hunger bar needs only 1 to get full) to try to get Meowtchi, but the icon of the meat doesn't appears in its cell, only the default rice ball icon

And then in the anime they always like the same things (fashion and or music) which makes them hard to tell apart, the boys went though something similar too with every male character looking like Charatchi or Smartotchi and they all like sports or science lmao. That era was very “stereotypical boy/girl’s toy” marketing so it’s not my thing

Well, I was going to say that they do have a lot of interesting and unique qualities to them. They don't look entirely identical, even their eyes have different details the closer you look (size, highlights, etc.) but they are pretty similar and it makes for a very rigid look overall.

This! It's because they're together that it's not good. They all blend together and become mid. Separated they can work, especially among more silliness → i.e the Very Berry Land DLC, Patitchi is adorable because she's surrounded by sillier characters and has a clear rheme.

This I agree with, it was heavily marketed in a stereotypical way. It was the 2010s so the separation between boy and girl "things" was still more prominent. But that's mostly from overseas marketing, Japan did a better job at showcasing these characters in very unique ways throughout the anime.

And it leaned heavily into girly fashion and clothing because Tamamori was a whole thing they really wanted to market, plus all the supplemental toys and whatnot

But each girl does have quite a unique personality when it comes to who they are, what they like, how they act, etc. They're not just boring Lovelitchi clones in that sense

Mmhm, I feel as though that was moreso the original vision from Japan when designing them all. That's why a lot of them are singers or pop-stars

They wanted to capsulize on the idol culture

But bringing that overseas doesn't work cause pop, and even just music culture in general, is so much different in other countries

So you just get girly girly jewelry clothes wow we're girls!

And the anime in general during that time period

I find the pairings and personalities they choose to reflect throughout their appearances in the anime to be fun and that's why I try to look past things like them being fluffy or having similar eyes

But physically, which is all that really matters for virtual pets, it is pretty sterilized

Anyway, rambling a bit so

That's my argument. Again. XD I feel like I'm always defending poodleslop, but then I give both the pros and cons of it and overall for what it is there are more cons

Tbf the biomes are the same, just with sprite changes. Keep them as a base and switch out the sprites. The hardest part is making new characters and sprites but they have a huge roster, leftovers, and the Lab characters we know of could fit in one. Easy way is to make sure you never let them give you an alert and just keep topping both up.

Every time you fill the hunger and happiness meters to the max (entirely full, even if they were only down a level), your tama's cell gains an onigiri or a sun icon, respectively

I've tried again on attempting to get bbmarutchi, i intentionally left the device alone for four hours and nothing seems to have happened (it evolved to the kid stage) so now I'm just gonna try not clearing the leaves on the cell, and not completely fill the happy/hungry meters and see if anything happens

Mine took like 1,5h to grow. And I took good care of it, fed it constantly. I don’t know, if it‘s necessary. And then I saw an icon on the bottom right and went to cell stadium and had to feed the clowds (Sky device) to the cell 🥹

Sorry if this has been brought up a lot recently but its driving me bats and I need to understand what we know so far. So if the left is the lab locations and the right is biomes only. There's a glacier, bamboo forest and a volcano/ mountain extra? I know Jade forest has been leaked but has there been anything other than that? If there's an icey shell I think my goblin brain might just keel over. Do we think they'll do what they did with the meets in terms of exclusives and waves?

This is making me think that bbmarutchi is less about neglect and more about "no changes in its environment", as the two recorded instances of it so far happened to people who could not change biomes or put down toys

and it seems to happen at the 24 hour mark

honestly not sure where the care misses came from - i checked on it like 10 minutes before as i was expecting an evolution and it was full. device woke up to evolve and he was hungry, unhappy, ill, and a baby

before that there were no care mistakes (was chasing meowtchi)

I saw pictures from one person on Reddit who also got bbmarutchi in kid stage and she took good care - no care misses. It was posted in r/tamagotchiparadise
