That sounds promising! I was worried that the battery life would be horrendous, given how many features the paradise has

same! Also hearing what the battery life was on the first wave of the PIX, I took caution but knowing it's still going after all the things I did on it and it was not even fully charged gives me big hopes!

I even tried to empty the batteries by playing games over and over again, made 40k gotchi points and it's still going strong

I think their intention there was still to have you connect to 2 devices and that was more of a workaround the fans found. I would hope there'd be a workaround for the Paradise too, but I'm not expecting one sadly since it's a specific character you're getting by doing said actions during the Young Stage :<

After 15 minutes they'll typically stop calling too, either just going back to normal or sometimes getting sick uwu

Sick calls will also count as a care miss if not tended to after 15 minutes

There is a mission where you have to send your tamagotchi sleep 50 times, if you change the time by 1 minute, the planete wakes up and you can send it sleep again (if you want to cheat that mission fast lol)

Red is morning, where the tama could wake up between then, Yellow is midday to afternoon when tama is definitely awake, Purple is potentially when you could put tama to sleep, and Blue is when tama is definitely asleep

I was looking at foods and realized- it's the 15th over here right now, and food items are 50% off? Looks like paradise might have uni-like sales days?

It does not apply to deco items or outside toys, but it DOES apply to snacks, which seems pretty huge what with the 3000 gotchi points jellies

Which, btw, in case someone who doesn't have the device yet wonders and it hasn't yet been said: items in shop cycle per day (seemingly changing at midnight), but items unlocked through shop codes are always available
Food seems to always be available as well, and unlocked through level progression rather than randomized

I don't think anyone here has, but my current tama should evolve into an adult in around... 16 hours? and i'm planning on immediately getting an egg and attempting to get bbmarutchi!

Guidebook data suggests it counts as an adult character though, but i'll be sure to try it out and report with findings!

For young, first one requires feeding the kid stage any meat (whether large or small), second requires apple or carrot (etc), last one requires meal bug or meal worms

Seeing the Japanese names, the youngs (at least here) are named after onomatopoeias

Which explains a lot

A thing I really love about the Paradise is the games and the money situation ngl
It feels like a good balance between effort vs reward?

Getting simpler games to play to make your tama happy and games that reward gotchi points is super nice to me
And being able to unlock other difficulty levels for the games, which makes them reward more money, gives a really nice feeling of progression

Quick check for anyone who's willing to hit the reset button a few times (just to reboot, not to clear), trying to find the version screen: try combinations of holding two buttons down and pressing the reset button

Some combination of such is supposed to bring up the version screen. I'm just not sure which buttons the code refers to. Remember that pressing in the dial also counts as a button.

I forgot the exact unlock levels but it was pretty fast. I think by level 6 you have access to all three biomes

I think I've discovered 70% of the logic for the prongs, but to actually reproduce it I would need to decrypt the firmware to pull out the secrets (actually what they're called, they're things intended to be kept away from other parties so they can be used in validation)

If you want to know something crazy, they support running arbitrary code on the device as long as it's encrypted properly

I'm still open to someone who has a Paradise and a flash programmer to try to dump the bootrom so I can get stuff decrypted without waiting for my own to arrive

On the Connection versions at least the most reliable way to do it is to have the buttons held before and after the reset button is pressed

Rather than attempting to do them at the same time

there are some Colour versions where the key is to put a special button combination in immediately after reset though

I've got 4 Tamas in my water field and a new one I'm keeping in the land one but whenever I visit, one of the Tamas disappear so that mine can play. When it wasn't using the objects, all four were around

Try contacting the support for wherever you purchased from and see what they say

The thing with early/pre orders is they haven't been mass tested yet so you find there's bugs and hardware issues on release
Usually the issues are fixed in later models but us early folks are the guinea pigs
