Where did you get Kodogaotchi from? Isn't its name Land Kid in English? Or did they change it for the device?

Cause even its JP name is "りくキッズ", Riku Kizzu

I think if I were writing it I'd say "My Tamagotchi evolved into a Roar Young species!" or something like that. But honestly that's a personal preference, I won't judge if people use fanmade names or whatever. I just haven't seen all the official names on the device yet so I haven't gauged what I even wish to call them, lol

Looks great! Oh, and just so you're aware, when you add sprites to tables, be sure the image type is set to "Basic" rather than "Thumbnail". It doesn't center it in the box properly xP

Tho when you select Basic, sometimes it unchecks the box for "Wrap text around this item", so you have to check it again and then make sure "Center" is selected :3

the website that the QR codes link to is active now and you can use the codes on the Roblox game

It’s only one “type” of code (I’m guessing it means land/sea/sky or per-device) per account though

Actually in the official Tamagotchi lore, gender didn't exist on TamaPlanet (that's why on the Connections for example the characters can be of any gender), but when the tamas visited Earth, they decided to bring the concept of gender back to their planet 🥲
As the planet we take care of on the Paradise has only new tamas who were born and raised on this planet and who never traveled to Earth, it's only normal they don't have a gender 🤭

Do we know if codes are one time use, or if the same code can be used on multiple devices?
Curious if it’s like the connections or not as there’s no internet access on the devices

yep! Like the uni codes in a way, just on Paradise there are no 3 only uses things possible because none are connected via a card or something (good news)

I was wondering how it would work and Japan seems to be doing a lot of promotions atm for stuff
But nothing outside of Japan (yet) and I’m curious as to how that would have worked

We are so used with Japan doing japanese exclusives but glad the fandom is active and japanese people often share online for the rest of the world to use as well 🙂

Also yeah, people begin to do screen protectors for the paradise but no way I can apply this first try, It's already a pain for me with a simple square shape so, this 😭

So it could give clues on how to get the specific character (such as tha amount of sun, whirl and so on?)

it's fun this way, to be honest it's like Mix, mixing was a surprise, I like to just make random stuff and unlock with luck

Knowing everything might ruin my experience a bit, will play for some months and then if I really can't get one in particular, internet will help me. It's like Playing Pokémon at release, you just try stuff haha

and same, it helps sometimes but for Uni for example, with care mistakes, it can be interesting for the badges, but here there are so many and it's like watching nature evolve, I prefer to let nature do it's thing if it's the main gammick of the paradise 🙂

You can also swap shells (I guess like any other device) so, like Have the dragon on your blue shell if you swap with the pink shell

Agreed! Even the size of the device works in that regard as it truly feels like holding a little world in your hand. I feel like everything they set out to achieve with this device is done incredibly well. I'd be surprised if it didn't end up in the top 5 or top 10 of most people in a few years

He's often been a bad care or mid care character. On the Uni, he was a mid happiness, perfect care character. I don't think they care if a character is iconic or not—Mimitchi isn't a perfect care character this gen either

The thing that sold many people on MIX, ON and Meets was the fact no matter the care, after 2nd gen you could get any results, good looking one, bad looking ones, but the care didn't affect, so many who were too busy could still get very pretty looking adults even with 8+ CM

so I hope Paradise can be the same

Care mistakes are stressful sometimes, especially when there's no way to reverse them,,, The Paradise has an adorable cast and the mixing makes it better so even with some CM impacting the results, most will be satisfied IMO

After knowing what CM was, it frustrated me and I had to cheat to avoid as many, so, changing hours, taking batteries out ..... but doing that removes the charm of tamagotchi ..... So I won't do that on paradise

I should accept that I can fail some and have bad results 🙂

You pick when you get a new one, idk if anyone has tried waiting for now! We're focusing on leveling up the planet which takes raising Tamas to happen. The parent does hang out in the field they were born in though

wow, I use Carrefour ones (had not much hopes on those lol) but surprisingly they still hold strong since 2018 (always used my mix with low light) I generally charged them 2h but my friend told me it can go up to 6H so I do 4h and they could go for 2 weeks or more (once a whole month) so maybe try to charge yours 4h and see how it goes 😮

Sorry if I missed the info : I thought that the type of teen you get determines the type of adult you get, for example if you get a Flap type teen, you get a Flap type adult. However, I just realized I had a Chirp teen that evolved into Mongatchi which is a Flap type. Has anyone figured out how this works? Is it that you can change the type of your tama at teen stage by feeding it specific meals?

This is directly from the V3 growth chart Bandai sent to TamaTalk. The V2 one they sent before did refer to it as Korotchi, but there was no artwork associated with it, just the sprite without the eyelashes, so we didn't know what color it was originally meant to be.

But when the name was changed to Leaftchi, that's when they made artwork and it was this green variant.

the different sprite doesn’t have anything to do with a specific character or name, it’s just an early sprite for the character. Late V1 versions have this version of Violetchi, and they updated her sprite for the V2

You gain a sun every time the happiness bar gets filled, and an onigiri every time the hunger meter is filled

My meowtchi had well over 5 of each, sadly I didn't think to take a screenshot of the cell, as we had the code for it!

I don't think it's a misunderstanding, given those symbols specifically do not show up when checking Mongatchi's genes through the Lab Collection

So it isn't solely care misses that matter, and 'mid but not great care' seems to also contribute!

Each time we fully filled the happiness meter, the Tamagotchi Cell gonna have a new sun next to them
If we filled the Hunger meter fully, a onigiri appear next to the cell
Leaves/bubble/clouds depend of the biome the Tamagotchi live
If we gave a amount of specific food (say Plankton) to a Tamagotchi, it gonna appear next to the cell
And finally, if you have done a care mistake, a swirl will appear

The wiki sprites are taken from promotional images so colors won't be perfect. Its why getting the sprites dumped off the device is much better

Yeah for some reason the colors for the promo images didn't match the ones from the GIFs Bandai had on the website; Sebiretchi was pastel yellow like her artwork in the GIFs, for example, and her usual bright yellow in the promo image.

correct. omar confirmed that the faceplate will not be easy to remove without damaging the clips. although i swear i saw something here earlier today where someone accomplished that

The plastic looks thin, but seems to be a pressure fit

You’d probably have to use tweezers and slowly push it

The guidebook suggests you need to connect a Young Tamagotchi to both of the other shells to get it to evolve into the secret adult

Indeed, feels like the MIX where you had to connect to two devices but at least you could reset one to reconnect and make like you use a new one, not sure paradise will do that if you reset a same biome device. Oh well, I am totally fine with the main rooster ❤️
