They need to get a new English translator for the Uni. My Mametchi just told me he wants to become more "independant." Also, I think it was during the Tama Arena countdown where the little NPC was switching between "Tamagochi" and "Tamagotchi" in the same sentence. Just pick a lane. lol

I don't think it will ever be truly deterministic because it is based on the number of times your Tama has gotten sick, which is a random chance on every care miss (40%/35%/30% depending on growth stage). The method is pretty straightforward. It is all about getting CMs from Happiness. Here is my process for child stage:
Have baby stage end with 1 hunger and 1 happy and full poops. You should get a call after 20 min or less for the happy bar depleting. Let the CM happen and you have a 40% chance of getting sick. If you get sick, heal it immediately. This will give you one happy bar so you will have to wait 20 more minutes for the next call. If you DON'T get sick, you will only have to wait 5 minutes for the next call. With this method you will be getting a care mistake every 20 - 35 minutes. On top of that you will be getting some calls and CMs for hunger. After a hunger CM, always feed 1 so the bar is at 1/6. This is to keep the Tama trying to poop because that gives sickness as well when the screen is full. Here is a log of going from Child Evo to first Grim in less than 3 hours. Times might +/- a minute or two and some of it is assumed based on timers (I set 15 min timers after each call).

I have noticed a little bug with how the poo sickness interacts with other call timers.. I will try my best to explain lol

• If a poo sickness happens during an Happy call, it will cancel the call because healing sickness gives 1 Happy.
• Poo sickness happens on the poo timer, which happens on every other food decrement.
• If that decrement fully depletes the Hunger bar it will go straight into a Hunger call after healing the poo sickness.
  So far that all makes sense. The weird part is that the Hunger call will end (either in sickness or not) 15 minutes from when the Happy call was, which should have been cancelled by the poo sickness.
  I have seen this multiple times now, and it throws all my timers and logs off. Either I am crazy or this is a bug.. maybe both.

I noticed something similar! I didn’t interrogate specifically what caused it, but sometimes the hunger and happy attention calls would get out of sync approx when they would overlap

People also saying the arena rewards were available at Tama fashion but I think they are confused with how your mannequin works. You can put anything on your mannequin to display but its not confirmed that arena rewards and password items will show up for others to buy.

You have to collect 3 of a fruit to get 1 of that dye. Leftover fruits don't seem to be counted in future farm walks. For example if you get 5 grapes you only get 1 purple dye and the remaining 2 grapes are thrown away

Question about the uni battery: I’m currently getting all the parts for my custom uni ( buttons, faceplate, spray paint ) together, and there’s every possibility it could b a week before everything is ready. If my uni dies today, would it b ok for the device 2 stay dead over that period of time without causing damage to the battery? This isn’t my preferred solution but it is SO HARD to get the uni 2 die

I saw someone on one of the tama fb groups say that if you drain the battery completely to when the low battery screen no longer shows up that you can charge it without it turning on. Which is apparently better for the battery than leaving it empty for an extended time. Anyone know if that’s true or not?

Li-Ion batteries like to be around 40-50% charge

Going below 0 for an extended period will kill them pretty quick.... repeated draining and charging from 90-100 will reduce their life significantly.

i wanted to buy an outfit from tama fashion with 3 accessories, but my storage was full.
i went to the tama mall and sold a few accessories, particularly 3 i had duplicates of. (so i had 2 of each and i sold 1 of each)
i went to tama fashion and tried to buy again and got the same error.

a few days ago i had the same situation, but when it told me storage was full i got rid of an item i had 2 of and it removed both of them.

so my theory is: storage is not based on total number of items, but number of different items. so 3 of one item would count as 1.

I turned the brightness up and played games non-stop. Once u get the screen where it’s like “pls charge” keep going, you’re getting close. It’ll start being reluctant to turn on, but keep pressing “b”. Once on keep playing games. Eventually once it gets really close to dying the “pls charge” screen will pop up more frequently and u won’t have enough time between getting it on and getting the menu up 2 play games. Just keep turning it on and pulling the menu. After a bit, it will turn on only to give the “pls charge screen”. Just keep turning it on over and over at this point and she’ll finally let go. xoxo gossip girl

Suffered through 10 ambulances with Shimagurutchi over 4 days, mostly adult stage. Followed a lot of the tips from @velvet turtle . One ambulance as a teen. As adult, three each on Days 3, 4 & 5.

Once happiness and hunger were 100% drained + room filled with 3 poops, ambulances showed up like clockwork. Did nothing with my tama for 3 days but heal when sick or heal when Grim Gotchi/ambulance came. Grim always showed up after 3-4 sickness heals.

One thing that came up - seemed like the CM counter (relative to getting Grim) reset over night. For example, if I had 2 CM/sickness going into bed (with happy/hunger 100% drained), I always had to get another 3-4 the next morning before Grim appeared. Glad to have Shimagurutchi back

I just got mine today, too! I am so glad to be done because it's so hard for me to not just keep my Tamas healthy and happy. I was also doing it over the course of several generations just to get the icons for bad care Tamas I didn't have. Yeah, I just let poo pile up from baby and kept both happiness and hunger down and the care mistakes came very frequently. I didn't pay as much attention to how many but it definitely felt like every fifth CM (so like 4 sick heals like you said) was a Grimgotchi instead?

I've seen if you meet other requirements (3 walks a day, order delivery 10 times, or 15 perfect games) it prioritizes those? I'm not 100 percent sure but I remember someone mentioning that. So I just avoided everything except taking care as normal. She was born from a Tamaverse marriage and then I bought more than 3 outfits cause I was paranoid.

Out of curiosity, who did you end up with?

hmm...the only thing is could have been is games but I'm not sure it was 15 times I played. I just needed money for the outfits. Oh I did go nuts ordering food on sale food day but I think that was a different tama. I dont do 3 walks a day.

It's 3 walks total not per day btw, farm doesn't count for that. Neliatchi is one you could've possibly gotten from 3 walks if you hit that amount.

Gen 10 Bubbletchi. I wasn't sure I'd get her as I let Milktchi leave and changed egg colour. I have only had 4 gens with the blue egg, but I guess letting them leave maybe doesn't reset the gen counter.

It messed with mine, cause I bought Tama Fashion 5 times on the 5th gen, realized the 4th had left instead of getting married, and got Memetchi

In my case I did 6 gens with the green egg, then Milktchi left and I picked the blue egg and this is my 4th gen with the blue egg. I had otherwise fulfilled the conditions for bubbletchi. Her parents married in tamaverse and I bought outfits 3 times. I was expecting Neliatchi as I'd read that the gens reset when you switch eggs but I bought the outfits just in case, for science.

So about the balloon gift you get after marrage. Has anyone gotten both region exclusive toys from a region?

I'm trying to get the samba feathers, the red/orange balloon looking thing, and the gong. Every time I always get the same region item. So not sure if you always get the same reward or if you can get both

I have 2 Unis running. 18 Generations between the two (1 was a connection marrage). So far it seems like I've gotten the same toy each time. Fox example each time I marry a Europe tama I keep getting bikes

Each region has 2 exclusive toys so you'd think it'd be 50/50 but I'm not sure if both are available.

I’ve noticed when I feed my tama on the Uni the default food it actually lowers their happiness. I know on other color tamas they hate the default food but did it actually lower their happiness before?

It might just exclusively be for what regional items you can get by default. I wouldn't be surprised if that's all it is (Other than your region being displayed in the tamaverse)
