Ok, so I made about 2 or 3 care mistakes raising my Kuriritchi, and he became Kikitchi

Married him off and got a moody Niinitchi this time, pink egg for the third time

Usually Kikitchi's the best care character of its group, so there's two possibilities

The alternative conditions are like the Pix in that more care mistakes need to be made than what's normally required to attain a certain adult

Or characters can be placed in more than one group and potentially with different care mistake requirements

At the moment, we're seeing plenty of adults come from multiple colours of eggs and it wouldn't make sense to restrict them to egg colours if people are getting the same ones with each gen, so I'm leaning closer towards the teen grouping theory

Hopefully we'll have enough adults and samples to start organising the character list soon

As funny as I think it is that we've gotten so many Mimitchi from Tustustchi, it only makes me more confused as to what happened for MissLolo to get one from a Labilatchi

It could be similar to the Kuriritchi/Kikitchi situation in that Mimitchi requires perfect care from Tustustchi, but enough care mistakes from a Labilatchi to prevent it from becoming Neliatchi

I dunno if I'm imagining things, but it feels like the male teens everyone's gotten has been more balanced than the female teens

I've listed nearly twice as many Tustustchi as I have Labilatchi and Teftetchi combined

And ironically, the male teens seem to be the ones whose requirements are all over the place

I'm not saying that it isn't the case for the girls

Rather that there seems to be more of an established pattern with them

In that case, we might be starting to get a bit of a clue to a potential growth chart

If Kuriritchi becomes Mametchi with perfect care, Kikitchi with a little bit of neglect, then Weeptchi and Simagurutchi with some or a lot of neglect...

Kikitchi can also come from Curltchi with perfect care, as can Mametchi from Gunchitchi with just enough neglect to prevent Kuchipatchi

Would that mean Kuchipatchi follows suit with Curltchi?

It'd match up with how Mimitchi and Neliatchi are the only other adults that I know of so far that can come from more than one teen

As what apparently happens when Teftetchi gets perfect care, there's a chance that Woopatchi could come from Tustustchi

Remember that on Pix and Smart care misses were cumulative throughout both child and teen stages - so if a teen needed 3 care misses, it couldn’t grow into a 0-1cm adult (unless there was a special secondary growth condition met)

So i understand how favourite items are handled. It doesn't seem to be tied to personalities but actually which item you have placed in your tama's room

Eventually after at least 1 day, instead of the questioning pokes my mimitchi gave the blanket, the dolphin that i placed before was back to normal interaction.

Her new favourite item became the blanket and she also weirdly stopped disliking the science kit and started hating the fossil kit

• collect materials (as many times as you want) & 1 crafting recipe (limited to 1 per day) via "tama walk" (20 minute walk using the pedometer as step counter)
• go on a walk to the "farm"; it is a minigame you play by tilting the UNI, directing your tama to collect fruits! If you collect 3 of the same fruits, you get 1 dye!
• Go to the item menu, go to crafting, select a "blueprint", dye it with you collected dyes and craft the item - if you have enough materials for it that is 🙂

A quick word of advice when charging your Unis with a USB-C charger.

All USB-C chargers do provide 5V and the Uni should only draw the current it needs. The dangerous thing is actually the USB-C to USB-C cable you use, some are not manufactured to specification and can ruin your charger and device. (https://www.theregister.com/2016/02/03/surjtech_typec_usb_cable_problem/)

That said, I've also heard of malfunctioning Macbooks frying devices connected to them, so personally, I'd avoid charging Unis from another device like a laptop.

If you're using a USB-A to USB-C cable from a USB-A port (like on a PC or an old phone charger), you're 100% safe.

And from my personal experience with the Vital Bracelet BE, I've fried it by plugging it directly to a 60W USB-C charger. But that only has a micro USB port and thus has no protection.

Of course, the safest thing is to use the cable that came with the Uni, but most official phone charging cables, USB-C Macbook charging cables, etc are all safe

I'd just avoid any cables advertising themselves as being high power or anything like that

Oh absolutely, power banks should be fine as long as they provide 5V, which should be standard. Again, safest would be to use the USB-A port on a bank, but the USB-C port with a good cable should be fine too

HOWEVER, the Vital Bracelets MUST only be charged from USB-A ports. After my mishap, I cannot recommend using USB-C to micro USB cables or adapters to charge Vital Bracelets

2.4V seems weird, nothing uses that voltage. Do you mean 2.4A?

You should be fine, most power banks are safe to use for charging old phones

your tama posts to their "social media" on its own once per day, you can see the post in the "phone/social" menu!

If you press B, you can send it to your phone! It works the following:

• either your phone scans the provided QR code and automatically connects to the tamas Wi-Fi or...
• ... you use a QR reader to manually read it out, get the tamas Wi-Fi information (pw changes every time) and manually connect your phone to the tama WLAN with the read-out PW
• if connection is successful, you get a second QR code with a link to open in your browser; it is basically an IP adress of the "server" the tama device is running to provide you the image - then you can just download it like every other image from the web!

If I'm on pc I like to dm it to my partner, open it in chrome then copy paste it where I want to send it but this is a bit of a dumb way to convert it lmao

So whats the opinion on how adult growth works on Uni? Are we thinking its similar to Pix?

The only thing is theres 10 characters of each gender. Including Unimarutchi for both and not including the 2 characters that require connecting. So 10 characters ÷ 3 eggs = 3.33. My only guess is that its 4 adults per egg color like on Pix but with 2 repeat characters that are obtainable on 2 egg colors

Not sure if its the same on Uni but you let a stat empty, it will immediately ask for attention, then you wait 15 minutes for them to stop asking.
They will either stop asking and go back to normal or get sick. Thats when it counts as a care miss.
