what’s a tamagotchi or vpet you own that you treasure?

For me, it’s this incredibly beat up v4. I was 10 at the time. The day it came out I was BUZZING as I begged my mum to take me to pick it up. When we got home I was obviously freaking out excited to play it. It was sitting in my lap and somehow my childhood dog got it without my noticing. I realised only when I heard crunching noises. I was so upset but luckily it still worked. And still does to this day. I tried to make the bit marks better by colouring it red. Dunno why a “bloody” looking tama would make it look better 😂 my childhood dog died 6+ years ago and I’m now 25. I will treasure this forever. Miss you Bossy RIP💖

mutsu. my bf bought it to me when we weren't even dating (he's crazy, I know that the price was v high at the time) and gave it to me on my birthday. I cherish both of them a lot 🥹

I got many I would have hard time parting with, but I started to get into world of Tamas after purchasing 4U in 2019. After that I have collected more than 100 Tamas and 100 vpets, I have passed on my Tamas to other collectors and got new ones etc. And now I feel I'm int the good place with my collection. I'm going to play more and buy less I guess 😁 I would never sell this one tho, I bought the care book for 4U and I was just really look after this one, took it with me everywhere. I bought 4U+ after this one and rest is history!

My cobalt V2 - I bought this from someone locally for $15 CAD shortly after I started collecting and it quickly became my favourite in my collection! It's been a LOT of places with me and is no longer as nice looking as it was when I got it, but it's one of the tamas I own that I would never ever part with lol (the sound no longer works, which I should probably get around to fixing at some point, but she's still perfect to me)

It's been reset/died a couple of times but I've definitely logged well over 60 generations on it

In terms of rare tamas, I'd say either my clear blue Mothra (got it for a really good deal and thought I'd never own one) or my Yasashii (which was a goal of mine when I first started collecting - I still can't believe I own one)

My pink v1 is my fave! (yellow v3 is high up there also) It was my first dream tama when i was in elementary school and finally got it as an adult to start off my collecting journey ☺️ was from an estate sale bnip

V6 Idol dream was my only tama for a long time because I couldn't afford it, the V2 re opened my passion for collecting tamagotchis again, the Smart because its one of the tamas I have been running the longest for the time being, same with the Entama and the PacMan nano cause I'm basic and I love PacMan

These two right here! They have always been my favorites, I have a lot of fond memories of bringing them to “share day” at my school every Friday. I’ve had them for 19 years, between some of those years I forgot I even had them, but would always be overjoyed to randomly find them again in random places around my old house lol.

Mine would be my Music Star! I had other Tamas before it growing up, but my parents would take them away all the time and probably trash them.

I bought this my senior year of high school with my friend who also got a music star, so when I think about it, it's the last tama I ever bought or received as a kid.

Really treasure this one, I bought it from a thrift store from someone who had no idea how much it was worth, so I feel really lucky that I was able to get my hands on it! (Not my image)

My favorite tamagotchi is the v4.5 white flowers. I really like the mini games especially jump on the clouds which makes me feel very peaceful. I took her with me for a road trip last spring and really had lots of good memories.

I think I treasure my Pix Party the most because of the photography feature. It has let me get back into taking spur of the moment low quality snapshots of my friends and my life and putting stickers on them like I'm a kid again. Keeping the memories stored with my pet is so nice and wholesome!

This is my treasure. This was the first Tama I ever got when I was a kid. Buttons hardly work and the back side doesn't close well so I have tape on it, lol. Forever keeping my lovely first tama 🧡
