had to hot swap mine to save my ship
Yeah assault craft and defensive craft ai's work, but the regular craft count condition no longer detects any craft

I just did a test against my alt with my main running the ai with assault and defensive craft and my alt running the previous craft count ai...... my alt never turned on it's aa against full carrier spam
Any idea how long until that next update so I know if I have to tell my community to fix everything?
well depending on how many more bugs appear during the week
as we would want to try and have as many as possible into the hotfix
Totally understand trying to get everything together for a hot fix. But literally every person uses AA. The longer this waits the longer people with take advantage of it to effect rankings every day leading to tourny and tournement if its not fixed before then. Much like how people abused the EMP instant kill situation back in the day
Yeah @agile dirge I don't think this can wait as it would break every single ship in the game that uses AA

yea but it would be worse if there are other similarly or more pressing issues that also require intervention. Because the moment we submit a build its locked in for iOS/MacOS
it will be even more significant delay if we pull it

Yes but every ship in the game is broken. The delay is needed as this is a game breaking bug
as bad as "ppl taking advantage" is, its not end of the world

Game breaking no, but it sucks waking up because the update happened in the middle of the night for you and you drop 40 ranks because everyone else updated and took advantage. And thats one day
again, i understand YOU view it as "game breaking" but i'm saying as far as the team is concerned it isn't AS pressing
yes i know but the alternative would be worse if there are other bugs that are as bad or worse and we miss it for our hotfix

gotta love those friday hotfixes before the weekend when the tournament begins XD
Also were seeing many in game chat already starting to say if the starbux farming is a thing from starbase controls this could be the death of many small communities and some are saying just join the top fleets cause thats all that will survive
eh we'll see how it goes we may potentially tune down the starbux rewards or increase the cost
also not as if everyone can "join" top fleets
those who can't won't have a choice but to stay in the small communities
i don't think this is really an issue
currently i've set a hard limit to 5 systems per fleet
but again i think people are underestimating how difficult it will be to hold many star systems
5 fleets per fleet or 5 ships per planet?
My concern is a syndicate being made. 100 bux a day x50 planets is 5k a day what stops trek, summit, vikings. Dynasty etc from becoming a super community and just taking everything? Like not trying to fight but this incentives smaller communities dieing off to form super ones no? And theres no way to stop a community from taking as many as they can within the rules of the game

i already have a fixed build, just that as mentioned above i'm just giving it abit of time to see if there are any more issues to address before submitting for release

well maybe you could've just idk, applied it WHILE server was under maint
so in a month? because last hot fix was almost a month ago
a good 90% of players currently have 0 power in AA, if i hadnt been notified by @red ravine i wouldnt have noticed
we as players expect the most basic ai commands we use to function properly and not break

well maybe you should've tested the update more before pushing the update

Yes but that will cause a huge delay for any other issues, because of Apple review times
its better if we wait just abit to catch any more obvious critical issues
than risk having to wait even longer
like i said, this isn't a complete gamebreak/showstopper bug
so it does not warrant that urgent a fast track

With a confirmed fix the devs refuse to patch
I'd like to follow up on Lurelin's questions. Does the assault craft -> increase power AI work or is that broken too?
Because it'd be a decent application just to avoid DFH craft anyway.

This is an extremely good point. Id rather have broken aa ai right now for a short time, than something else for a long time
I haven't seen any way for fleet families to coordinate or benefit from sub fleets. You don't get the resources from "allied" fleets. Only way to do what you're talking about would be to cycle through leaving and joining each fleet each day to collect the resources.
also only 3 star systems have max tier 5 infrastructure for Commerce
