i just upgraded to lvl8 amd wanted to report it also

on lvl7 that two right top grids been buged then worked for some days and then buged again. it was only two squares but at lvl8 its too much to ignore it

Yeah just got to level 8 and it's really annoying. Feels like we are at a disadvantage vs all other ships right now.

Are you unable to build on those spaces?
Did you count the rest of the active blocks to see if it matches 226?

Its not bugged its just the design. Level 8 have 212 grids only. And if you use the pss1 builder it will show you the same thing. It has 212 grids.

But I dont know. Your shows that its +14 grids for T8 but mine shows only 212 grids for T8. I dont know which one is correct.

I count 92 + 120 on that pss1 setup, 212

the highlighted cells appear to total 12 spaces, and clearly the internal space is a little bit bigger than the pss1

I dont see the other 2 spaces that would make it +14

You counted the grids? Salute. I tried but I cannot I get dizzy. Thats why I go the the pss1 builder it show the total grids of the ship.
Also my pss2 fed ship says 212 grids so it correct.
The SS that has +14 grids is for the level 9. Im just curious why he has an option to upgrade to level 9.
(Not totally sure its for level 9 but the req to upgrade is for a level 9 ship)

Feels bad for feds, even less grids than pirates. Slightly better armoring efficiency options with larger deep hull section tho. And imo, thats how it should be

You have a better opportunity if used well to have more armor utilization, so less space. Trade off. I dont get why QT has absolutely the best armoring potential, logistics, and most space...

Its ok to have some variance/strengths and weaknesses differences between the factions. Seems like fed and pirates are kinda close in tradeoff. But QT is just aces all around, no downside. Of course this is based off of doing things well, anyone can be bad with anything or even pay to lose. Be reasonable and compare 'best case' scenarios.

And yes, there may be a change later, but who cares. There is extreme value to the here and now time, and ships should be fairly balanced across factions for a given class and not this 'well you have a good thing at 10 and they have a good thing at 12' etc. Then what happens when everyone pushes to 12? One faction is favored for the permanent endgame and its ok because their ealier tiers were bad?? I dont think so. Bad game design

Actually they fix the combo and now I am dead. Lol
Normally I have 90% combo on fed with efficient layout. Now I dont even have 50%.

Im sad too. They fix my secret advantage. Lol
Now they are strictier. The guns really need to be on the edge of space. No allowance.

more armor is never bad!
come up with a better layout, I bet you can get that damage back
I largely dont use damage combos as putting weapons on front means less armor and a long run
I might put my MSL up there tho since top players are all about the evasion and ignore MSLs

they could be useful vs lower evading players or when i take engines out they do bonus dmg

I am now passionately hating how they handle this, the whole ship design philosophy already hinges on the two block allowance we believe is a feature, and they took it away.
