i have this with a alt account stuck in first system with nothing to do...my main got lucky and is okay...seen this problem on reddit with new account but dont think they last to long to complain about it.....i know its listed to fix in main bug thread but such a big impact to any new players ..why would they stay ??

Just to reconfirm....i started a fresh account , with a brand new gmail...got as far as deploy a mining drone and story bugs out....nothing else to do...as seen on reddit this is affecting ALL new starters....no wonder fresh accounts are getting abandoned....different race starts , all the same issue....story's bugs out after u defeat the system champ and try to deploy a mining drone as there's no where to deploy the drone too so the story just dies....
