Both when using the switch character menu as well as when logging in, the game gives an error when selecting an empty slot to create a new one. Additionally, doing this from the switch menu also logs you out of your account.

When you are logging in, there is an option that says something similar to 'or log in with an existing account', right before you send the verification code. If you click there, you will be able to log in.

I know that, thank you though! The issue is that it won’t let you create a new character from that menu though, only selecting an existing one works

Just realized I forgot to add these, in case it helps here are the error messages it shows when trying from the switch menu. They’re the same from the login menu as well
