If we are going to be traveling or otherwise unable to get back to the game our trials teams suffer.

We can set up one day and then shut down. The game will credit us when the day ends if our team made it far enough. But then our core goes full idle.

Instead… please auto-start the next day with our core set how it is. Sure, restrictions may mess up the previous day formation, and we might not make it to objective. But many people can build formations which are viable regardless of the limitations that show up in the next couple of days.

Just let it auto-start the new day for us if a party is doing trials and not in the active foreground when the daily timer resets.

Out of curiosity, if you set the modron core with a party and a goal zone which is good for the first several days, and just let it run, does it complete multiple days, or complete but you need a one-minute check in once or twice a day, or...?

The idea of full-AFK for the multiplayer coop week-long side of the game is kinda weird otherwise, IMO.

I like the idea of just letting us choose to add the next day's restriction to complete the next daily challenge early, and have the increased DPS just not come into effect until the day it's supposed to. That way you can do all 7 days in one sitting.

Nothing actually runs offline, it all runs when you log back on. They have no server side code for simulating your party

kk! Still not in favor of this one, it seems contrary to the purpose. (though I'll admit, I've sometimes had trouble doing my trials runs!)

I don’t think I ever let it wait through a full day unattended. But if you are completely out of the program when a day ends, you come back to the party frozen in whatever zone you were at when time expired with a notification that the day has ended. So I doubt you would get credit for any second day.
