First about Ellywick +gold.
Before rework +gold was awful, you needed to babysit her watching stacks every boss kill and complete 1000+ zones with her in the party with a 5+ flame stacks. But when Astarion showed up all became much better - he became best in slot for +gold with +e9% gold and no stupid stacks.
But now... I was trying to get some moon cards and after 30 min I got 3 and this beats Astarion +e9% buff. Now Ellywick is the best in slot +gold hero. But now you need to babysit her in zone 1 for 2 hours trying to get 5 moon cards with a chance 1% 😞 . 1 more boring gold hero you need to babysit same as Pinelope.
So Elly gold rework was OK (it was really bad before) but result gets 👎 from me. Astarion was more predictable and faster to use.

Now about Ellywick +gems.
You sad before: we don't want players farm gems, that's bad for the game. And you know players farm gems with a Briv, that's must have. But for briv stacking we need predictable +damage buffs. Ellywick is opposite of predictable. So she cannot be used for gem farming and she gets x5 gems dropped with rework 🤨 She was the WORST hero to get +gems ability. How should I use it? Have you ever tried to balance briv stacking reset? Even +200% random buff can ruin everything. You need constant favor, gold and damage buffs, tank health, adventure with specific opponents in specific zones...
So here comes scripts. Not only scripts by default lets you earn x10 gems but you don't need to bother about anything above. So Elly can be used with scripts just fine. And now scripters will get even more gems, like ~ x4. While regular players earning 1k gems per hour, veteran players earning 10k gems per hour.... scripters will get ~1M gems per hour 🙀 You think its fair and OK? You want everyone use those scripts, right? Who wants to farm 10k gems per hour if you can get x50 more?
That is really bad for the game. I better uninstall it and farm bitcoins or something more useful, not gems 😏

Introduce us advanced modron reset options! I bet people will help you creating those, just ask what they need or look those scripts and what they do. Now we need those advanced modron reset options like never before.
AT LEAST make an option to reset adventure when Briv gets x steelbones stacks, it will take 1 hour of work and save days of work for each player farming gems without third party applications.

It takes more then 1 hour to make that change to modron resets just sayin

It does make sense from a design and balancing standpoint that a champ that takes more work to optimize would provide stronger results when optimized than a champ that you can just throw into the formation and have working at 100%.

If she can get enough moon cards with few resets use her, otherwise use Astarion.

Removing Briv stacks as mechanic would also solve all above problems and much more of others 🙄
Let Briv jump as much as he wants!!! 😼 😸

It's practically impossible for them to design around perfectly predictable power for manual Briv, and removes potentially interesting complexities from the game, so look for a different way. There are a number of different options out there. 'briv stacks to reset' is one, and a decent one.

If you struggled to implement ellywick into your modron briv stacking farm feel free to visit the modron briv stacking discussions thread over at resources, we've had great success with her since her +damage is very predictable. We even have someone using click damage so gold wasn't too big an issue either for us.
