I'm specifically referring to variants that require you to complete an area within a certain amount of time, but if there any other types of variants that can have their completions revoked then this should apply to them too.

As an example, Tomb of Champions (The Beginning is the End - Turn of Fortune's Wheel) asks you to complete area 150 in 30 minutes or less. If I start a run on that variant that passes area 150 in under 30 minutes, but I was AFK for 31 minutes then the UI will show the variant as successfully completed until I end the run and it switches to incomplete.

3 or 4 variants that you can complete in like 10 minutes. why are you doing the variant and then going afk (or afc) for 30 minutes when you started something you know has a time limit. Literally you just need like 3 potions and a speed team.

I get that it's a stupid thing that shouldn't exist, but if they want to do it that's fine. Those for me are usually complete like 5 minutes later. Why would you start a time limit variant and then go away for a significant amount of time? If it was like 2 hours for area 1,000 I could understand you might use a variety of potions, but run 1 elminster variant and you can buy enough silver chests to replenish what ever potions you used on the "To level 50 or 150 in 30 minutes"

I'm tempted to say not worth it because time management I can consider a part of a puzzle variant. They also don't give any rewards really at all. Elminster it's like 1,000 currency when everything else gives 10-20k currency.

If they do it it'll probably take 6 months to a year because it's been so low on their priority list for like the past 5 years it hasn't gotten done. shrug

There might legitimately be a problem where if they try to fix it, it'll break something else. Gotta remember this game was first written for playing on Flash in your web browser.

More of like "keep in mind that this game is spaghetti code and some things that seem real easy and simple might be a nightmare to implement and it's kinda low priority they might listen to you and agree with you but not be able to get it done this year or ever with how the game is."

Some of hte high priority stuff takes months. Lower priority stuff that's like a minor annoyance in 5 variants in the game... The whole team is like what 15 people and some marketing and social media people?

I'm trying to be realistic in my view but it's fair if you think I'm being too honest

It doesn't look like it'll be a problem. But I still got to like make stuff to where it won't blow away in 30 to 85 mph winds and be prepared for power outages
