This is a suggestion of an Unaffiliated season with all speed champions.
All of them could get fancy Fast & Furius skins.
This Season includes 1 deekin 4 ishi 5 xander 10 ellywick and 12 melf.
Disclaimer: I waive any rights arising from the proposal and any possible future compensation for its use.

1 Slot: Deekin deekin

Building Suspense – Base Ranged Attack (unchanged)

Story of Doom – Ability

Adjacent Champions do 50% more damage per Story of Doom stack, stacking multiplicatively. Story of Doom gains a stack every 1.5 seconds to a max of 20. Every enemy killed reduces stacks by 20%.

Confidence in the Boss – Ability (unchanged)

Troubadour Troupe (swapped place with Specialization Choice)

Increases the damage of all Champions by 100% for every Bard in the formation, stacking multiplicatively, with buffs applying to the pre-stack value.
Note: Now that upgrades are pre-stack, a lot of the upgrades of this ability must be removed from here to prevent too much stacking, instead, those upgrades would be moved to a Global bonus similar to many Support champions (it is weird that deekin is a support with 0 Global bonus, he is not the only one, but it is very uncommon).

Specialization Choice (swapped place with Troubadour Troupe)

1) DOOM DOOM DOOM

Deekin's Story of Doom now affects all Champions in the formation, and its effect is increased by 400%.

2) Epic Tale of Little Kobold

Deekin's Story of Doom pre-stack effect increases to 75%.

3) Boss Wants Speed

Speed Champions now count for Troubadour Troupe ability.

DOOOOOOOM – Ultimate Attack (unchanged)

Comments

Story of Doom

  • 5% additive per stack feels very bad. 50% multiplicative per stack is far more interesting.
    Troubadour Troupe
  • The ability swap position with the specialization so that the specialization can affect it.
  • Now it is pre-stack!!!
    DOOM DOOM DOOM
  • The effect is increased to keep up with the others options.
    Specialization: Boss Wants Speed
  • This fits with this Season's champions.
  • No longer increases speed. With every rework, CNE is removing speed specialization as they were the only one people were always taking.
    Items
  • Now the speed mechanic has an item as widdle.
  • The description of the 3rd item was updated to reflect the pre-stacking nature.
    Feats
  • Updated Minstrel and All Together Now to reflect the pre-stacking nature.
  • The Dex +2 feat is for the 6th season dexterity score requirement (such as Githzerai Agility).

Confidence Boost

  • When comparing with artemis's ultimate, this ultimate seemed very weak, that is why I improved it.
    Let's Find some Treasure
  • It seems very similar, but originally it stacked additively which is very underwhelming.
    Treasure Hunter
  • Originally, it couldn't stack, being quite underwhelming.
  • Now it is pre-stack!!!
    Specialization Choice
  • Now it is pre-stack!!!
  • The pre-stack idea comes from new champions like miria or thellora that get the same treatment for their specializations. This actually encourages getting multiple stacks.
    Specicalization: Friend to Marginated
  • This fits with this Season's champions.
    Items
  • The new Slot 5 item is based on artemis.

5th Slot: Xander xander

Added the tanking tag.

Acrobatic Backstab — Basic Attack (unchanged)

Lucky Shot – Ability

Whenever Xander misses an attack, there is a 25% chance that the area is instantaneously completed, providing that your BUD is higher than the Area Base Monster Health. This ability doesn’t work on boss areas.

Distraction – Ability

Whenever Xander is about to be killed and this ability is available, he stays at 1 HP and becomes invulnerable for 10 seconds. He can use this ability a number of times equal to the number of Champions in formation with a Dexterity score of 14 or higher. Xander regains all expended charges when changing areas.

Streetwise – Ability

Xander increases the damage of Champions behind him by 400% for each Champion in formation who is Unaffiliated, stacking multiplicatively.

Childlike Wonder – Ability

Increase the effect of Streetwise by 100% for each sorcerer, warlock, or wizard champion adjacent to Xander, stacking multiplicatively, with buffs applying to the pre-stack value.

Specialization Choice

1) Trying Extra Hard

Increase the duration of Distraction’s invulnerability by 5 seconds and when using it, Xander regains all its hit points.

2) Follow Closely

Increase the effect of Streetwise by 100% for every use of Distraction in the current area, stacking multiplicatively.

3) Show me Again!

Increase the pre-stack effect of Childlike Wonder by 50%.

Power of the Family – Ultimate Attack

Xander uses his miniature statue to summon one of Waterdeep’s giant walking statues for 30 seconds. The statue taunts all enemies, preventing them from attacking anyone other than the statue. Xander has a 25% chance of regaining one Distration stack for every Speed Champion in the formation when using this ability.
Note: Chance above 100% means a chance of an extra stack.

#

New Items

  • Slot 2: Increases the pre-stack effect of Xander's Childlike Wonder by 25% -> 87.5% -> 150% -> 275%.
  • Slot 3: Increases the health of Xander by 10% -> 30% -> 50% -> 100%.

  • (Rare, Gem): Increases the effect of Xander's Childlike Wonder ability by 40%.
  • (Epic, Epic Battle Pass): Increases the effect of Xander's Childlike Wonder ability by 80%.

Comments

Lucky Shot

  • I was originally very bad. The new mechanic is intended to be used in areas with armored or hit based enemies, or areas like fire pits or barricades, similar to laezel.
  • In a normal speed formation, he might not be useful as familiars kills the enemies before he gets a chance to attack. I think it is nice to have a good but niche speed ability.
  • Be aware that he normally has a 33% chance to miss.
    Distraction
  • This is necessarily to give him the tank role, similar to krydle.
  • It fits with this Season's champions, as all of them have 14 Dexterity or higher.
    Streetwise
  • It fits with this Season's champions.
    Childlike Wonder
  • Now it is pre-stack!!!
  • It seems very similar, but it has also been increased from 50% to 100%.
    Specialization: Trying Extra Hard
  • Useful for solo tanking.
    Specialization: Follow Closely
  • Useful as a second tank.
    Specialization: Show me Again!
  • Useful as a support if you don't want to use him as a tank.
    Power of the Family
  • It fits with this Season's champions.
    Items
  • Replaced speed item with HP item, and added an item for Childlike Wonder.

Once they are gathered, all champions take 50% less damage and all Champions adjacent to Ellywick are healed for 1% of their max health every 0.1 seconds for 15 seconds. After 15 seconds they dash off again to the right, dealing damage to any remaining or newly spawned enemies. The duration increases by 0.1s for every card drawn.

Faster Tempo – Ability (new feature)

While Flames is the active card, Ellywick increases the chance to spawn an additional enemy with each wave by 100%.

  • (Rare, Gem): Increases the effect of Ellywick's Moon Card ability by 40%.

Comments

The Deck of Many Things

  • 100 areas with a bad card is a torture, now it is only 5 areas.
  • If you want to make enemies more dangerous, a speed mechanic that increase enemy spawn speed is better approach than buffing their damage and speed, specially at high zones.
  • Getting a Fate card at high zones could mean you unable to progress as you lose a lot of power for too many zones. That is why that card has been removed.
    Call of the Feywild
  • The healing over time and the scaling duration makes it a better defensive ability.
    Fortunate Soul
  • We have no champion that can do this. This will give a niche role for her in gem farming!
    Items
  • Updated the description to match the new names of the abilities.

12th Slot: Melf melf

Zagyg's Needle – Base Attack (unchanged)

Melf's Adaptive Support – Ability

Melf creates a new spell to assist the formation. He customizes it based on Champions in the formation. • Increases the effect by 25% for each unique Race in the formation.
  • Increases the effect by 25% for each unique Class in the formation.
  • Increases the effect by 25% for each unique Alignment in the formation.
    Notes:
  • "[...] with buffs applying to the post-stack value of each parameter." means that the buffs apply 3 times.
  • As now it is pre-stack, some of this ability’s upgrades are removed and added to Melf’s Augmented Support Spell instead.

Melf's Righteous Determination – Ability
