Seasons need to be more exciting. How about we break a rule during seasons? What if Seasonal champions allowed for an additional champion to be fielded from their seat? That would give us 10 weeks to make formations that could only be possible during that specific season. As a theroycrafter, this sounds really intriguing and could do a nice shakeup for our crowded seats.
Here are some examples we could do if this rule was implemented for Season 4:
- Make an all Ranged team with both 
&

's formation buff could be increased by 
's Socialite
- 
could observe the buffs of either 
, 
or 
- Using 
for Icewind Dale patron variants wouldn't block another available Seat 10 champion
- A gold formation could consist of both 
& 
Another perk of this seasonal rule, when an upcoming season features a champion in Seat 11, 
wouldn't be blocked from being used for that champion's Seasonal quests. Let's face it CNE, players will complain when a Seat 11 seasonal champion inevitably happens. (Looks like CNE took another approach to this problem)
There will no doubt be some crazy good combinations down the road that wouldn't have been considered when developing these champions, but after 10 weeks, those combination will change. What say you?
