the problem was that the pinnacle weapons were just comically overpowered compared to literally everything else

yeah it's a lazy way to handle the balance, but what's the point in spending time to nerf something that you already don't want people using?

I don't know if you played D1 but the gally meta for year 1 and if you didn't have that PoS ggs getting into a group,

Things like Recluse Mountain top etc, are so much better then whats in the current pool but if you had to keep making guns that were better then them, then the ever increasing power creep to balance content around people having these guns would result in regular legendary weapons being dogshit and you'd be a massive power disadvantage if you didn't have Recluse but x20 and the game at a base level wouldn't be fun without those guns

The should bring back Warden's, but rework the weapon frame so it still has the same trigger RPM as a 120, but does a double shot like Breachlight does. Make it kinda like Crimson
