Does anyone know what a good legendary linear fusion rifle for DPS would be? Right now im running a machine gun and i am an arc hunter, any suggestions?

I’m pretty sure linears are bad for dps, but hopefully, that changes with the update. Machine guns that aren’t thinderlord/grand overture are worse.

Yeah legendary linears have been bad for a while
The heavy slot sniper from renegades is the best precision based option for legendaries, rockets and GLs are also good

Scintillation with rewind + bait and switch is the best legendary linear. Mistral lift is the next best.
But if you need a legendary precision then the crossbow a good shout with envious arsenal is better. Or even better as mentioned the heavy renegade sniper with aggregate charge

Good shout kinda relies on you being able to pick up the bolts during damage and being on moebius quiver tho so unless you're close to the boss it's not very worth using

thunderlord for consistency, wolfsbane for anything melee, queenbreaker for ranged, finality's auger is best if you have it otherwise
