I see a lot of different info online and I can't tell whether it drops in vanguard ops or was moved to portal activities.

Also what is the drop chance, I haven't been able to get anything to drop in either.

Kill yellow bars anywhere with leviathan’s breath and catalyst will drop, it’s still RNG. I did it in prophecy, starting section has 3 knights which keep respawning if you don’t deposit motes
