Returning player from Witch Queen

I've attempted building that subclass several times but I've had trouble with it on harder difficulties due to lack of survivability. I mainly main Nightstalker and I wanted to branch out to different subs

pure solar is kind of dookie tbqh

the main hunter subclasses people use are arc and prismatic, and prismatic gives you basically just solar without downsides

Unless you're running young ahamkara spine, there's basically no reason to not run healing grenade on pure solar hunter. Also, On Your Mark aspect will grant cure on kill at 10 stacks and its pretty easy to stack it up

So aside from young ahamkara spine not really worth other exotics,like Shards of Galanor or Caliban's hand?
