Why is my Praxic Blade stunning barrier champs? | Destiny 2 LFG | Page 1

I am using a Praxic build by Matics and for some reason it breaks the barrier champs shields. None of the mods I have for the season do this and I have no idea how its happening. Im runnning Prismatic with SoF super.

Some exotic weapons have anti-champion properties by default, not due to seasonal artifact. e.g. Thunderlord can always stun overloads and queenbreaker can always stun unstops

Praxic blade similarly can stun barriers and will continue to do so in future irrespective of any artifact

Doesnt it usually tell you that it has an instrinsic anti champion effect?

I don't have the game open right now but I recall it shows anti-barrier symbol next to praxic blade icon

@bronze pelican the other person is right. praxic blade is just anti barrier by default, ik it says riposte in the artifact makes swords anti unstop but if a weapon has a built-in trait then it overrides whatever is in the artifact. ok long story short praxic blade is anti barrier naturally

Just to add some info for anyone reading this later, I looked at the in game inventory for Plaxic Blade and no where does it mention this weapon intrinsically being able to stun Barrier champs, where other weapons like Thunderlord, Arblast etc do state it in the weapons description

Its in the desc on main inventory page it shows barrier icon. not in details it don't.

Depending on subclass either solar or stasis you have it back end gains unstop or overload stun aswell
