You need 5 feats for T5 rewards. Feats are unlocked after first completion under customize section. All feats except cut-throat is usually more efficient

Rough. Do you need to 1 feat then 2 feats etc? Or if I just join for a 5 feat run will it unlock for me

I have gotten T5 loot randomly throughout runs with varying numbers of feats, I assume there is a small chance of T5 on sub-5 feats?

Join someone on a 4feat run and it’ll unlock everything for you. Farming that solo is super difficult anyway
4 feat guarantees you T5s from completion chests. You can still get it from 1-3 feats but drop chance isn’t worth the time spent
Cut-throat increased power delta so avoid that and you’ll be fine
