That's what the quest does. I'm not sure if you can grab worms without having initiate tier 1/2/3 which you get through the quest

Well if I already have the worms, do i need to just to the boss battle by itself or i need to input the code at the beginning?

If your quest is finished already, input the code and complete the dungeon (checkpoints won't work). Once boss is dead, wait a bit and a new room opens up near the symbols wheel, open that chest and you'll get the catalyst
There will be a new lens puzzle after 1st encounter unless you've finished it in a previous run already (this is the quest step related to control chamber once you've found all 9 worms from what I recall)

Not really. I had completed the quest way before I got the exotic (before dungeons/raids were made farmable this season). In that case, you could get the catalyst after a complete run (no checkpoints) after entering the 3 symbols. I got the catalyst this way

OP mentioned he already has the worms (3rd message, not the title) so he should've done the quest already. You can't grab worms without having initiate tiers first which is through the quest
