How to get exotic armour from campaign

I did the skip for 2k silver for my hunter as i didnt want t do a 3rd run of it. I went back and completed every mission needed in legendary. Is there anyway to still get the armour piece for the hunter

If you're talking about edge of fate, you needa run the sieve and on that bonus round you need to fill up the bar all the way

You can get an exotic keycard as a random drop from chests in any lawless frontier activity. Go to the location mentioned, it'll open a room and one of the chests will have the exotic

I'm not sure how rare that drop is but I've played only 2 missions and got 1 from a random chest

its probably quite rare, as i ran like 10+ missions already and haven't gotten one

There are chests on every map hidden in corners, it's double rng I guess as nobody would hunt for and open chests unless it happens to be in front of you during gameplay. There could be other ways I'm not aware of, wait a few days and youtubers will find it
